Story No. 2 A Lion and a Mouse Once upon a time, there lived a lion in a forest. One day, it was sleeping under a tree.  After a while, there came a mouse and it started to play with the lion. Suddenly the lion  got up in anger. The lion angrily took hold of the tiny mouse. The mouse requested  the lion to forgive it. The lion left pity and left it. The mouse ran away.  On another day,  the lion was caught in a net by a hunter. He roared and tried to escape but failed. “The  mouse heard the lion roaring and came there to cut the net. (2) The Bear and the Two Friends      Once two friends set out on a journey in the jungle. During the journey, they promised to  help each other. While passing through the jungle, they saw a black bear running  towards them. One of the friends climbed up the tree. The other friend could not do so.  He lay down on the ground and held his breath. The bear came up to him and smelt  him. Thinking him dead, the bear went away. The other friend on the tree came down  and said, “What did the bear whisper in your ear?” The friend replied, “He advised me  not to trust selfish friends. Story No. 2 Title:   The Dove and The Ant Once there was an ant. It went to the bank of a river. By chance, it fell into the water. A dove  was sitting on a nearby tree. She saw the drowning ant. She took pity on it. She plucked a  leaf from the tree with her beak. She threw it near the ant. The ant jumped over it and saved  itself. After some days, a hunter came that way. He saw the dove sitting on a tree. He aimed at  her. The ant saw the hunter. It stung him hard on his foot. He missed his aim and the  dove was saved. Both were very happy and became good friends.
