Q1. What services did Sir Syed Ahmed khan vender for the awakening of the Muslims of the Subcontinent?

Ans: Sir Syed Ahmed khan Sued Ahmed khan was a writer, teacher, and philosopher. He struggled effortlessly for the education and awareness of Muslims. He was the first leader to use the word "Nations" for the Muslims of the Sub-continent. According to him Hindus and Muslims are two nations. Their religion, culture, history, and civilization are different from each other. They can not live together and this distance will increase over time. So he is the founder of the "Two Nation Theory". Sir Syed Ahmed Khan believed that Muslims could only establish their identity through modern education. For the educational development of Muslims, he started the "Aligarh Movement".


Q2. Write a note on the political and Social Services of Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan? 

Ans: Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan was the wife of First Prime Minister of Pakistan "Rana Liaquat Ali Khan". She launched many projects for the welfare of women and children. She provided health facilities for women and children migrating from India to Pakistan. In 1949, she founded an organization called All Pakistan Women Association (APWA) under which a series of schools, colleges, and industrial homes were established so that women could progress. She also served as Pakistan's ambassador to various countries for 12 years. In 1973, she became the first female provincial governor of Sindh. She worked alongside her husband through the struggle in Pakistan.


Q.3. How did the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decide to join Pakistan? 

Ans. After the declaration of Partition of India, a referendum was held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in July 1947. The purpose of the referendum was to find out whether the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wanted to join Pakistan or India. The majority of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa declared to join Pakistan and thus it became a province of Pakistan 


Q.4. What three qualities can make you an ideal personality? Write them down in your notebook.

Ans: Three qualities that can make an Ideal personality are: 

1. Handwork 

2. Consistency 

3. Strong willpower
