Q1. How do the Constitution and its implementation ensure the provision of basic human rights?

Ans: The Constitution is a set of basic principles and laws that govern the country. All the laws of the country are framed in the light of the constitution. All citizens are equal before the law. That is why the laws of the country apply equally to all citizens. No one is above the law whether he is rich or poor. The constitution provides guidance for running a country or state. It provides rules for the government and defines authorities for the institution. Therefore it ensures the provision of basic human rights.

Q.2. Explain the functions of political parties.

Ans. The functions of political parties are:

i. It works according to the manifesto. 

ii. They bring people together on one platform by creating political awareness among the people.

iii. Participate in elections and solve people's problems after being elected.

iv. After forming the government, they work for the welfare of the country and the nation.

v. Represent the country internationally.
