🎤 Independence Day Speech for School Student (14 August)
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu and a very happy Independence Day to everyone!
Respected principal, honorable teachers, dear parents, and my fellow students — today, I feel proud, I feel thankful, and most of all, I feel blessed to stand here and speak about our beloved country — Pakistan.
Dear fellows!
Pakistan is not just a land, it's our home. It's the result of the hard work, sacrifices, and dreams of our ancestors. They gave their blood so we could live freely, speak freely, and dream freely.
Worthily guests!
Let us also draw inspiration from Jinnah’s powerful message delivered on 11 August 1947, when he declared:
“You are free. … You may belong to any religion, caste or creed … We are starting with this fundamental principle: that we are all citizens—and equal citizens—of one State.”
This inclusive vision remains Pakistan’s guiding light. We must remember: unity, discipline, and faith are not mere slogans—they are the pillars of our national identity.
In the same spirit, reflect on the inspiring words spoken by Jinnah just days after independence, as he led Eid prayers in Karachi:
“No doubt we have achieved Pakistan, but that is only yet the beginning of an end. Great responsibilities have come to us… The time for real solid work has now arrived.”
So, dear friends, independence is not just about hoisting flags or singing national songs. It is about taking responsibility. Today our nation faces challenges—poverty, injustice, and lack of education. The best way to honour the sacrifices of our elders is to work hard, stay honest, and serve our country in whatever way we can.
Let us promise today:
• We will respect each other.
• We will work for a better Pakistan.
• We will never forget the sacrifices that gave us freedom.
Dear All,
Pakistan is our home. If we love it, protect it, and work for it, no power in the world can harm us.
May Allah bless Pakistan forever.
Pakistan Zindabad!
