Q1. Read the following passage and answer the questions. (National Book Foundation (page: 08))

Hira went to the shopping mall with her mother. There were many shops. They went there to buy fruits and vegetables. Hira's mother bought some onions, a bunch of grapes, and a dozen bananas. Hira went to the bookstore and bought a new storybook for her friend. She also bought a bouquet of flowers for her father. They also enjoyed tea with chocolate cake in the cafe. It was a good experience.

 

1) Answer the following questions:

Q1. What did Hira's mother buy?

Ans: Hira's mother bought some onions, a bunch of grapes, and a dozen bananas.

Q2. Where did they take the tee? 

Ans: They took tea in the cafe.

Q.3 For whom did Hira buy the storybook?

Ans: She bought a storybook for her friend.

2) Do as directed:

1) Hive bought a banquet of flowers. (circle the collective noun)

ii) They went there to buy fruits only. (Tick/cross)

iii) Hira went to the shopping mall with her father/mother (Choose the correct answer)
