Q1. Read the following passage and answer the questions. (National Book Foundation (page: 05))

It was Wednesday morning. We all got up early. We had to gather in the ground for the cricket match. Everyone reached the playground at 8 o'clock. We were very excited and took photographs. 

1) Answer the following questions:

Q1. Which day it was?

Ans: It was Wednesday.

Q: What was in the ground?

Ans: There was a cricket match in the ground.

Q: When did everyone reach the ground?

Ans: Everyone reached the ground at 8 o'clock.

2) Do as directed:

i) We all got up early. (underline adverb)

ii) It was Monday evening. (Tick/cross)

iii) We were excited (circle adjective)

iv) we were bored/Excited. (Encircle the correct option) 

v) We had to gather in the ground. (underline preposition) 

vi) Everyone reached the playground (Tick/Cross)

3) Make sentences:

photography: My hobby is photography.

morning: I get up early in the morning.

ground: The ground is big.
