Q: Read the given sentences and circled the words with silent words. (page-33)

i. The bird is eating bread crumbs.

ii. Sana is climbing the mountain.

iii. Yasir wrapped the wristwatch.

iv. Do you know who knocked at the door?

v. Ahmad's knee got injured.

Q: Look at the picture and answer the following questions using the position words in complete sentences. (page-33)

👉Where is the cat sitting?
Ans: The cat is sitting on the tree.

👉Where is the squirrel?
Ans: The squirrel is under the swing.

Q: Read the given words and write their meanings. (page-33)

Q. Rewrite the given sentences using the correct plural forms of the underlined nouns with correct subject-verb agreement. (page-34)

i. The cat is hiding in the bush.

Ans: The cats are hiding in the bushes.

ii. The student is sitting on the bench

Ans: The students are sitting on the beaches.

iii. There was a child standing outside the gate.

Ans: There were children standing outside the gates.

iv. He has pain in his tooth.

Ans: He has pain in his teeth.

v. The fox is running after the mouse.

Ans: The foxes are running after the mice.

Q: Fill in the blanks with the correct articles. (page-34)

Sara wanted to buy a new storybook so she went to a bookshop. She saw many storybooks and then found the one she was looking for. She read a few pages of the storybook. Then she took the book to the shopkeeper and asked him to add a ruler and an umbrella to her cart.
