Past tense -- فعل حال  

iv)      Present Perfect Continuous tense. (فعل حال کامل جاری )

A work or any action that started in the past and continues now or has only just stopped.

⇒[We use helping verb has been & have been and 1st form of verb + ing]

Examples in English and Urdu: 

1) I have been working since morning.

میں صبح سے کام کر رہا ہوں۔

2) Amna has been watching her phone for an hour. 

آمنہ ایک گھنٹے سے اپنا فون دیکھ رہی ہے۔

3) I have not been eating my food for an hour. {Negative}

میں ایک گھنٹے سے اپنا کھانا نہیں کھا رہا ہوں۔

4) Zabia has not been playing with me for the last two days. {Negative}

ذابیہ پچھلے دو دنوں سے میرے ساتھ نہیں کھیل رہی۔

5) Has Hafsa been reading novels since morning? {Interrogative}

کیا حفصہ صبح سے ناول پڑھ رہی ہے؟

6) Has Khadija been working on her homework for 2 hours? {Interrogative}

 کیا خدیجہ 2 گھنٹے سے اپنے ہوم ورک پر کام کر رہی ہے؟
