Past tense -- فعل ماضی  

ii)      Past perfect tense.  (فعل ماضی کامل )

A work or any action that happened before something else that is also in the past

⇒[We use helping verb had and past participle]

The past participle is a form of the verb that ends in -ed or -d

Examples in English and Urdu: 

1) Amna had washed her clothes.   

آمنہ نے اپنے کپڑے دھوئے تھے۔

2) Me and my friend had finished our school work. 

 میں اور میرے دوست نے اپنے اسکول کا کام ختم کر دیا تھا۔

3) Seerat had not played. {Negative}

سیرت نے نہیں کھیلا تھا۔

4) Amna had not eaten her food. {Negative}

 آمنہ نے اپنا کھانا نہیں کھایا تھا۔

5) Had we played in the garden? {Interrogative}

 کیا ہم نے باغ میں کھیلا تھا؟

6) Had they gone? {Interrogative}

 کیا وہ گئے تھے؟
