Thirsty Crow

Once there was a crow. He was very thirsty. He flew here and there in search of water. At last, he went to a garden. There he saw a jug. There was a little water in it. His beak could not reach the water. He saw some pebbles nearby. He dropped them one by one into the jug. The water rose up. He drank it and flew away 

Morals: 

i) Necessity is the mother of invention.

ii) God helps those who help themselves.
