The foolish stag

Once there lived a stag. One day, he was drinking water at a pod. It saw his reflection in the water. He felt his beautiful horns. It praised them. When he his ugly legs. It hated them. Suddenly he saw hounds running toward him. It ran away to save his life. His thin and ugly legs carried him away from the hounds. But his beautiful horns were caught in the bush. The hounds came up to him and tore him into pieces. 

Moral: 

i) Pride hath a fall.

ii) All that glitters is not gold.
