58 580 ÷ 10  = 5 858   ------Ans.

Thus the total price of both the scanner and laser printer is Rs. 295 780-------Ans. 1 


b) the total price of 15 scanners and 3 laser printers. 


To find total the price of 15 scanners and 3 laser printers. We will find first the price of 15 scanners by multiplying the price of one scanner ie. Rs. 162 900 by 15, and the price of 3 laser printers by multiplying Rs. 96 880 by 3. After then finding their sum. So,

The price of 15 scanners are



The price of 15 scanners is 2 443  500 -------(1)


The price of 3 Laser printers are



The price of 3 laser printers is 290 640 -------(2)


Now total price of 15 scanners and 3 laser printers are




Thus the total price of 15 scanners and 3 laser printers is Rs. 2 734 140  ------Ans.2
