Q1: How many layers of the egg do you see? 

Ans: There are three layers of eggs. 


Q2: Which is the thinnest layer and where is it located? 

Ans: The rind of the egg is the thinnest layer and it is the outermost layer. 


Q3: Which part of the egg is the biggest? 

Ans: The egg yolk in the middle of the egg is the biggest. 


Q4: What is there in the middle of an egg? 

Ans: In the middle of the egg is its white layer. 


Q5: How do these parts resemble Earth? 

Ans: The parts of the egg resemble the inner structure of the earth. The rind is like the crust, the white part is the mantle and the yolk is the core of Earth.

Q1: Are there any living organisms in the sample? 

Ans: Yes, there are worms and ants in the sample. 


Q2: Do you see any dead vegetation matter? 

Ans: Yes, there are rotten leaves and stems in the sample. 


Q3: Are there some grains of rocks on minerals? 

Ans: We can feel grains of sand and gravel in the given sample. 


Q4: Do you feel the moisture in the soil? 

Ans: Yes, the soil feels damp. 


Q5: What are these items called? 

Ans: All these items are called the components of soil.

1: Do you observe layers in the jar? 

Ans: There are three layers in the jar 


2: What do you see at the bottom of the jar? 

Ans: A layer of sand and gravel is at the bottom of the jar. 


3: What do you see over it in the roily water? 

Ans: There is a sticky type of soil suspended in water. 


4: What is floating up on the surface of the water? 

Ans: The top surface is a layer of dead vegetation matter. 


5: Which layer do you think is the heaviest? 

Ans: The lowest layer with gravel is the heaviest.
