Ans: Burning candle produces air pollution. 

ii. Have you seen any change on the surface of the glass held over a burning candle? 

Ans: Yes, the glass surface becomes black. 

iii. What is that black material called? 

Ans: This black material is called soot. 

iv. Can we call this pollution?

Ans: Yes, soot is an example of environmental pollution.

v. Define Environmental Pollution. 

Ans: Any harmful change for living organisms in the environment is called environmental pollution.
